Session ONE!!!!!!!!!

So, a week of camp is a complete dawn till dusk blur of running, singing, jumping, laughing, eating, flag-stealing, lake-splashing, kick-ball kicking, frisbee-throwing, trail-hiking, arrow-shooting , talent-show cheering, friend-making, long-lasting-memory-forming fun.

What there isn't always time for is remembering to take pictures of it all.

So below are a few snapshots that try to capture all that can not be captured about our first session, The Hungry Games. (Based on no copyrighted works of notable fiction, they are just games about being hungry and a reference to nothing in pop culture what-so-ever.)

Flag Raising. An iconic tradition.

Who doesn't love outdoor cooking? Not nobody doesn't love outdoor cooking.

Cabin Choice with Cabin Six, bonding with the Dining Hall lights in the distance.
S'Mores.

Now, that's a good scrapbook photo.

Time for BFI (Battle for the Island)
A brief truce between the Beavers and the Hawks.

Overseen by a lady in a red hat and the Crazy Cutter.

A. Nouncer, the unbalanced host of our HungRY Games.
Our counselor, Erik. Dressed as a hot dog. Playing musical chairs. Getting pies smashed in his face repeatedly. If you're wondering what in the world the Hungry Games were, they were this. They were this.

The very first Honor Ceremony of Summer 2014.
