Session 2: The Caaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnival (It was Pirate week. Get it? Get it?)

Did you get it yet?

Pirate week is one of our favorite classic camp themes, and we celebrated with a full blown Wednesday night carnival. (Refer to the title of this post for proper Pirate pronunciation.)

Our special pirate guest Captain Sompton Orhudder and his first mate.

The first step was pirate flag creation...

Across the bridge to the waterfront led to pirate territory.
And a siren sang in the water to lure campers across the bridge.
Well, that's one too many patches to be an effective pirate. The Captain's booth was the Two Steps Forward One Step Back Plank Walk. See below for a simple step-by-step visual explanation.

A camp postcard if I ever saw one.

Buddies.

What's going on at this booth? No idea! But it  looks fantastic.

Self explanatory.

Carnival companions.

A functioning co-counselor relationship.

End of the night! Another successful Summer Camp Fair.
