Session #2: The Last of the Dinosaurs

So come last Friday, the final day of Jurassic Camp, we still had four unique genetically created dino-creatures running loose here on Camp.

The Dino-camp-osaurus.

The T-T-Rex.

The Slobbosaurus. .

And Florence.

But, to catch them the campers needed to hone up their skills:

Skills like throwing dino-food!

And catching dino-food!

Determining secret locations!

Sneaking up!

Dino-roar-echo-creation!

Planning!

Smiling!

Laughing? Coughing? Yawning? Sleeping?

But where are all the stations? If only a MAP was made.

Dr. Cornelius Von Fossil: Paleontologist or madman? (Who says he can't be both?)

Professor Patty Chan approves.

Making circles! (We need to make circles for 65% of all camp activities.)

You're ready. Find that dinosaur, Violet. Find. That. Dinosaur.

A group tries to coax The Slobbosaurus out of his lair.

The T-T-Rex in his natural habitat.
Dinosaur hunting is happy business.

It's not easy to charm the T-T-Rex.

Unless you build him a legit fossil, of course.

The Slobbosaurus has been caught! It's for the best. Someone needs to get that bowl of pudding from him.

Even the Dinosaur hunters become dinosaurs here.

Campers just need to entertain The Dino-Camp-osaurus with what it loves. What does it love? Camp, of course.

Camp Songs! Camp Games!

And delicious Camp treats!

And it should be no surprise that Campers THIS good at Camp had no issue netting the Dino-Camp-osaurus.

What's a Florence? That's a Florence.

Why would the Camp Director even invite someone to Camp who would let loose a herd of genetically created dinosaurs who looks oddly like staff members wearing hastily put together costumes? Why would he DO that?

Yet nothing makes a group feel more accomplished...
Than successfully rounding up...

A group of summer staff dino-creatures...

And shipping them all off.

Oh, we couldn't forget you, Russel. (Von Fossil's very first creation.)

Bon Voyage to Jurassic Island. (Located directly behind Vesper Island.)

The Campers bid farewell to our first ever Jurassic Week.

NEXT TIME:Not Session #3 yet! (Well, I mean, it is Session #3 yet. It's Session #3 right now. But first it's the Lantern Family BBQ!)
