Session #4: The Holiday Fair

Time for the Holiday Fair!
 ,
Yes,

From the Pumpkin Patch...

All the way...

To...

Arbor Day...

And even...

Over...

To...

Ground Hog Day...

(Yes, these...

Are what Camp groundhogs look like...),

We're celebrating...

With one of...

The campiest...

All-Camp games...

We have:
A Fair!

Indeed,

A good...

Ol' Fashioned...

Camp Fair!

Not one of those...

New-fangled...

Recently-Invented...

Latest-Trend...

Hot-Off-The-Presses...

Spur of the moment...

All-Camp-Games,

(Though we love those too...),

This is a...

Classic...

CAMP FAIR...

Like we've been doing at 4-H Camp...

For decades...

And decades.

The concept is simple!

Each cabin...

Invents...

Prepares...

Organizes...

And runs...

Their own fair booth...

For all the other cabins...

And campers...

To participate in.
Yup,

11 cabins...

11 booths...

\

(Plus a few run by the Senior Staff and Junior Counselors...)

And a whole evening...

To run around...

And see...

What they all...

Have...

To offer.

This time around,

Of course...

All the booths included...

A holiday twist.

Which brings us back...

To the groundhogs.

Yeah, instead of seeing their shadow...

It seems Camp groundhogs just get water poured on them...

On a cool, cloudy evening. We're still trying to sort out exactly why that is.

Past the pumpkin patch...

It's Arbor Day!

And Cabin #4 is celebrating...

By sending the trees...

Notes of appreciation.

What exactly does one put on an Arbor Day note of appreciation to a tree?

Things like this, mostly:

There was also one that said "Stay grounded", which I thought was pretty clever.

Past the...

Face paint booth...

Where we got to use this sign for the second time this summer...

What booth do we find?

Why, obviously...

It's National...

Talk Like...

A Pirate Day.

In general,

The Holiday Fair...

Made us feel...

Exactly like this.

And if at the end of the night...

After sampling...

ALL the booths...

You had a little extra time...

You could even...

Take a Halloween Camp Ghost tour...

Run by some very friendly, very strange...
Camp Ghosts.
