EARLY Birds

There is only one week left in our Early Bird Registration period!

If you haven't signed up for Summer '15 yet, do so before March 15th to secure our best rate for new campers. If you have already signed up and are looking forward to joining our Lantern Family Program by referring a new camper, send them our way before next weekend so they can get our Early-Bird rate as well.

People often ask what Jim and I do all year long when Camp isn't in session.

It's simple.

We wait for summer, of course.

By doing the exact same things we always do.

We have our morning meetings on the Dining Hall porch.

We observe the status of Camp.

And we enjoy some recreational time at the Waterfront.

With a Lifeguard on duty, of course. Safety first.

It's hard to play Slide-a-gories when your buddy is a dog. (But you can make it work. All questions and answers end up being some variation of "bark" or "ruff" though.)

You may be wondering "wasn't that cold?"

Only if you consider 16 degrees cold!

Which you and the rest of the planet should. 16 degrees is quite cold.

Jim and I have an on-going debate as to whether sandals or hiking boots are the best form of Camp footwear.
Today and today only,  on this one very rare occasion, I concede to Jim.

We're clearly all ready for summer here at Camp, and we hope you're all ready to join us.

Because after all the Early Bird does...

the Early Bird...

the Early Bird does something.

I know it does something.

What's the end to that expression

My thoughts have slowed down.

My brain is too cold.

That's an early symptom of hypothermia

We need to get inside and warm up immediately.

Sign up for Camp!
