Dusk of the Paintbrush Rebellion

It was finally the evening of our long Color Wars Day, but we weren't done yet - the evening held our final events. We jumped in right after dinner...

As a camper from each team...

Delivered and impromptu (and quite lovely)...

Lakeside Vespers speech.

Which led right into our penultimate event...

The All-Camp Relay!

Each and every Camper played a part in bringing their teams ALL across Camp...

From Hula hooping...

To standing in a garbage bag...
And waiting...

And waiting...

For that garbage bag to turn into a potato sack...

To race in!

Others contributed in their own way...

Like the Uphill Kick-Ball Headbutt!

Or the mini Well Shot!

Or...

Another Water Brigade!

That's right! The one earlier in the week was just practice!

The Color Wars themselves ride on this Water Brigade!

So move it!

But that's not all! There was a classic spoon-ping-pong ball balance...

A jump rope challenge!

An army crawl!

Could it get more exciting!?

Yes, because after a dizzy hill roll, our final runners reached their counselors...

And crossed the finish line Camp-style.

Yup. You guessed it.

This is what Camp style looks like.

What do you say, Navy Team? What could possibly top this?!

The answer is only one thing.

Yes, just one thing could top the All Camp Relay.

And that one thing...

Is our very own...

Patented...

World Famous...

L.G. Cook 4-H Camp...

All-Camp Gameshow...

FOUR CORNERS!!!!

What is Four Corners?

We can't really say.

It's definitely a little of this.

And certainly a little of that.

And a little bit of running.

And a little bit of the Wheel of Prizes.

And A LOT of laughing.

Talking, A LOT, of laughing.

And every single person on Camp is involved.

Eh. You'll just have to come here and play it some time.

And so when Four Corners ended, so did our day of Color Wars and The Paintbrush Rebellion...

But not before we had one last,

Final...

Slow motion celebration.
