New Classes for a New Year - Camp Reporter

Yes, our red carpet (kidding - Camp doesn't have any carpets) roll-out of our new classes for Summer 2016 continues, and for our next installment we move on to the Craft Shop.

Our good ol' Arts and Crafts course area is becoming more and more Creative Arts every season. In addition to our drama program, last year we added in some music with Junkyard Band, and for '16 we're gonna throw some creative writing into the mix with our brand-new class, Camp Reporter.

The class will be part journalism, part journaling, part imaginative story-telling, and part an exercise in our campers being just as creative as they'd like to be. Camp Reporter promises to give each camper a chance to document the Camp week in their own unique way.

Whether their article is "Life of a Cabin #5 Camper" or "An Investigation into What's Really Behind the Chaos of Chaos Week", the Camp Reporters will venture out with pencil, notepad, and camera to tell the story of their week at Camp.

The finished pieces will be published on this very blog!

There are thousands of stories begging to be told every Camp week and our Camp Reporters will each get to select one to get to the bottom of.

For instance, what's the story about what's going on here?

Or here?

Or here!?

Or here!?!?!?!

Or here!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

In Summer 2016, these are exactly the kinds of questions our Camp Reporters will answer.

Next Time: More New Classes! Yup, we ain't done yet...
