New Classes for a New Year- Bullseye

One of Camp's most popular, most traditional courses is bound for untread territory with out next new class:

Archery has always been a crucial part of the fabric that makes up the American summer camp experience, and it's been an activity enjoyed here at L.G. Cook 4-H Camp from the very beginning.

Need photographic evidence? Funny you asked:

Archery way back when, and in the bowl no less! (And no, I don't know where that teepee went. And yes, I wish I knew where that teepee went.)

Yes, we've done archery since the very beginning, and we've continued to do archery ever since.  However, in the past several seasons archery has seen quite the resurgence, and has risen to the rank of being our most popular class on Camp.

It is with this that we introduce our brand-new advanced archery class, Bullseye.

For campers who have taken our Archery course over and over again, Bullseye is a great opportunity for them to build upon their existing skills through a series of exciting archery games.

Bullseye will focus on and introduce a whole new assortment of unique games, challenges and contests.

This class will feature all sorts of different goals, varying distances, moving targets, and puzzles that will need pin-point arrow accuracy to complete.

Bullseye will be a whole new approach to what can be done with a bow and arrow, taking one of Camp's all time favorite past times and turning it on its head. We can't wait for our campers who have always loved the Archery program to discover what Bullseye has in store for them.

See! Even Maintenance Joe loves archery. Cause everyone loves archery.

Do you know who else loves archery, and can't wait for the arrival of our new Bullseye class?

Our Shooting Sport Coordinator, the one and only, Peter Mcbride. Here's what he had to say:

Well, thanks, Peter.

I have no idea what that means.

Next Time: You've got the idea now. It's more new classes.
