COUNSELOR HUNT! (Super style.)

People always ask what we do at 4-H Camp when it's not summer time.

Why, lot's of stuff! We have Fall and Winter retreats, and all sorts of different groups come to Camp to get away from it all.

One such group was our local chapter of the Super Hero Alliance.

They come for the monthly get-togethers every third weekend of the month.

But unfortunately, due to a scheduling error, we were booked and they couldn't hold their  September gathering!

This is why we were booked! You should join us though. We're going to have a variety of different hikes Saturday afternoon, then the whole family can stay for dinner, a campfire, and to spend the night on Camp. Anyway. I digress.

So they asked if they could instead hold their event on a Wednesday in August.

Now, usually, I wouldn't be too pleased with having a crew that looks like this in when there are campers on Camp...

But since it was our scheduling error...

Seriously. Come to our Fall Family Hike Day.

We figured, what could the harm be?

So we got to meet all of the heroes,

One by one...

(Again, this was just the local chapter.)

And then, no sooner did the Camp get to meet them...

Then they got in an argument!

The details of the argument were scant, but it seemed to be Hero/Villain based.

And then!

Oh no!

They all...

Ran away!

Leaving us no choice...

But to...

Find them.

(Except for you, Slobbasaurous. You can stay lost.)

Yup. We've got a bunch of lost super-heroes and super-villains on Camp.

Luckily, we have a contingency plan...

That we can call into action...

Exactly for this type of situation.

Sounds like,

It's time for...

A counselor hunt.

Our groups make their plans,

Strategize the best places to look...

And depart.

Cause we've got counselors...erhm, Super Heroes...to find.

Oh, and when you found them they gave you Super-jewels-medals-things.
Forgot to mention that. But they do.

And those Super-jewels-medals-things...

Gave our campers powers.

Powers to aid them...

In finding the rest of them.

There's one!

In the bushes.

Always check the bushes.

And so on we went!

Finding...

As many as we could.

But some!

We never found.

In fact, they might still be out there hiding somewhere in the woods for our...

See you then.
