Happy Holidays, 4-H Camp Family!

We wanted to get you something special...

So that's exactly what we did...

With our BRAND-NEW Leadership Fire Ring!

And by "we" we really do mean we - it's from all of us, for all of us!

This project wouldn't have been possible without the MANY generous donations from last year's fundraising campaign...

And of course is the product of all the hard work, talent, and dedication from Luis at Dreamscape Designs. 

(Should we see how it looks with a fire?)

Yes, our Leadership Fire Ring is made from re-purposed flagstones from our old Dining Hall patio...

And is nestled in the shadow of our waterfront bridge...

Along the stream exiting Lake Shawanni.

It'll be the future site of many CIT classes and programs...

A spot for cabins to roast s'mores and bond on camp evenings...

And just a great venue for anytime a small group of the Camp Family want to get together for some quality time around the fire.

Two Moons and Two Weeks Left in Polar Bear!

 

What's better than ONE moon on Lake Shawanni?

Why, a second one, of course.

Especially because the TWO moons easily allows us to seque to the fact that...

There's only TWO WEEKS left in our Polar Bear Early Registration. Sign up before the end of the year to get your bunk for Summer 2022 at our lowest rate!

I mean, I guess if the second moon wasn't reflected in the lake I could have waited a week and said "One Moon, One Week Left In Polar Bear!"

But that probably would have come across as even more of a stretch.

It's officially December, and Polar Bear Registration is busy earning its name!

There's some ice on the lake...

And there's some snow in the sky...

So the time is right to be planning for SUMMER!

You've got until the end of the year (12.31.21) to sign up and take advantage of Polar Bear Registration's discounted rates for Summer '22.
