Dawn of the Paintbrush Rebellion

When last we left off with our campers at L.G. Cook 4-H Camp during Color Wars Week, a mysterious group known only as The Paintbrush Rebellion had been leaving ominous notes all over Camp...

And then we awoke bright and early (and we do mean bright and early...)

To this! The Paintbrush Rebellion had marked the front of our Dining Hall with brand new team colors...

And the promise that our day of Color Wars competition had begun!

Who was behind this!?

We were confused!

Very confused.
And irritated!

I said irritated. That doesn't look irritated.

What is with these new, radical, non-traditional Camp colors!?
Maroon!?

Violet!?

Orange!? And Navy!?

When will this Paintbrush Rebellion reveal itself!?

Right now!

Oh no! Unimaginable!
It's our very own counselors!
Assembled in brand-new teams!

With the brand-new colors!
But that wasn't all...

We took a look at the hanging bandannas...

And each one was branded with the name of one of our campers!

Which means they were each assigned to one of these new teams as well!

Which of course led to the Great-Roster-Name-Shout-Off.

Yes, the first competition of Color Wars was to...

Be the first to assemble their team entirely...

By simply taking down the bandannas...

And shouting the name of the next camper to join the team!

Campers just had to listen for the counselors bellowing their name...

And rush toward their new team.

Navy's all together!

Maroon's still working it out!

When the new teams were all together we met in the bowl...

Cause what follows the first competition?

The second competition. Of course.

Then it was back to the front of the Dining Hall where we once again assembled in our new teams...

And lined up for breakfast.

And the best part is, if it's only breakfast, then that means our day long Color Wars has just begun!
