Time for some previously unseen photos from Session #7!
(And remember! Fall Family Hike day is a week from tomorrow - next Saturday and Sunday, September 15th and 16th. Join us for some strolls through Stoke Fores, classic Camp activities, good Dining Hall meals, and a night in the cabins!)
Yes, before it was the end of the summer, it was the end of Session #7...
And we marked Friday Week #7 by... |
Celebrating the impressive haul... |
Of flowers and veggies... |
From our Canoe-nity Garden! |
We marked it... |
By finally playing... |
One of our favorite All-Camp Games... |
FOOOUUUURRRR... |
CORNERS! |
It's the Camp Game Show... |
That incorporates... |
Equal parts... |
Running indoors... |
Possessing... |
Random... |
Inane objects... |
And utilizing... |
Pure... |
Nonsensical... |
Off-the-top-of-your-head... |
Improvisation. |
We usually... |
Save Four Corners... |
For rainy days. |
But amazingly, |
Considering the rainy, rainy, rain-filled... |
Rainy (and humid)... |
And rainy summer we had, |
We didn't have to pull out our All-Camp rain activity even once! |
(Cause Camp goes on in the rain!) |
So Friday Session #7 we played Four Corners NOT because it was raining... |
But just because we wanted to. |
And then! Also because we wanted to! |
We offered "Lightning Land Recs..." |
With counselors offering the best singular ten minute activities... |
They could think of. |
Most involved just having fun... |
Being at Camp! |
Because as I don't need to tell you, |
(Since it's evidenced now that it's fall...) |
Summer goes by FAST! |
And here at 4-H Camp, |
We're wise enough... |
To enjoy it while it lasts. |
I love 4-h camp
