Fall Family Hike Day Part II: Coming Home!

In our last post we focused on the hike portion of Fall Family Hike Day...

But like any...

Good Camp day...

The weekend's main event...

Was...

Just being here!

Doing Camp-y things!

Like...

Creative...

Arts and Craft-sy...

See-what-we-can-make...

'Round a picnic table...

Campy things!

Like make-up-a-game...

And immediately play-it...
Campy things.

Like...

Isn't it nice...

To hang out in front of the Dining Hall...

Campy things!

Speaking of...

The Dining Hall...

An intricate part...

Of a full 4-H Camp day...

Filled with hiking...

And playing...

Is sharing...

A big...

Delicious...

Well-earned...

Meal...

Together...

Afterward.

And what meal...

Is complete...

Without dessert!?

And for a...

Single night...

Camp event...

The only...

Reasonable...

Dessert option...

Just has to be...

Making your own...

S'mores...

Around...

The campfire.

It's got it all!

The scent of campfire smoke!

The darkening forest!

Everyone hanging out together!

And of course...

It doesn't hurt...

That marshmallows, chocolate, graham cracker and campfire...

Seem to go together...
So well.

And if we're all around an evening campfire together...

You know...

That our campers...

Would just have to...

Lead us all in some...

Good ol' Camp songs...

By request.

Another benefit...

Of spending a night at Camp...

Is the Camp morning...

That follows it!

And everyone appreciated...

The little extra mist...

The little extra chill...

That came along...

With an early-autumn Camp morning.

But of course...

What we appreciated the most...

Was the chance for one more...

Summer Camp morning...

That just happened to be scheduled...

In the September.
