We bounce back to the land of Environmental Education for a new advanced EE class.
Camp Naturalist picks up where our popular Eco-Detectives class leaves off, with an in-depth look at the specific ecology of our home in Stokes State Forest. Our Naturalist students will immerse themselves in...
Tree identification and the study of... |
Our unique forest and all of the... |
Various things that live there, be they... |
Insects... |
Reptiles... |
Amphibians... |
Birds... |
Or mammals. |
Not that mammal. Get out of here, Woodrow. |
Yes, our Summer Campers are used to calling L.G. Cook home, and our Camp Naturalists will look at... |
The multitude of other living things... |
That call our forests... |
And our waterways, home as well. |
Yup, this new class is gonna be super cool, and super educational.
But don't just take my word for it!
This class is a passion project of our Environmental Ed Coordinator, Molly, and she wanted to weigh in on why she can't wait for this new class.
See, you can tell those are really Molly's words cause she used the British spelling of "favorite". You can not fake that. You can not do it. It's impossible. Favorite. Favorite. See? Couldn't type it the other way if I wanted to.
So, thanks, Molly! And thanks to all of you with an undying interest for learning all you can about the land that Camp sits on, this class is designed for you to take a closer look than ever before.
Next Time: We're not on empty yet! We've still got more new classes!
