Thanks to our Donors! From a Snowstorm.

Thanks to the generosity of a WHOLE BUNCH of folks in the Camp Family, we're ready to get started on our Leadership Fire Ring Renewal...as soon as springtime sets in.

People Have Been Wondering If It Snowed At Camp...

Why,

As it...

Turns out...

As a...

Matter of...

Fact,

Yes.

Yes,

Indeed,

It did.

According to...

Top of the Welcome Sign measurements...

It snowed just a little bit.

Actually, it's still snowing.

So now that we've shared the scene with you...

It's time...

To head back inside.

January Trail

 It's January!

We're busy making preparations, plans, and contingencies for what Summer 2021 looks like...but not SO busy we can't share a photo of a January sunset through the bare trees of the 4-H Camp forest.

Happy NEXT Year!

Well, we've made it to the end of 2020, and I think we can all agree that we hope we will get to spend a lot more time together at 4-H Camp next year than we did this year.

However - despite all the year threw at us - we managed to have some fun and create some moments we could be proud of at 4-H Camp this year; some moments that we can happy happened.

So, I'd like to end the year with two of those moments - moments that could only have been brought about by a year as strange as 2020.

Our (abridged) Summer 2020 Talent Show:

And our Summer 2020 HAFHAH Closing Campfire:

So, 2020 wasn't all bad. And we'll look forward to seeing you in 2021.

(P.S. - We've nearly reached our Leadership Fire Ring Fundraising goal! We only have about $500 bucks let to go! If you'd like to help us get across the finish line, you can contribute here before the end of the year.)

Thanks for "Gathering"!

Thanks for joining us for 12 WHOLE DAYS of Winter Gathering "here" at 4-H Camp!

You can relive any of your favorites (or catch up on what you might have missed) HERE ON OUR YOUTUBE PLAYLIST.

That's another upside to being forced to do this virtually - it can be Winter Gathering 2020 absolutely any time you'd like!

ENJOY! (And Happy Winter Gathering.)

One FINAL Winter Gathering Decoration

Even though we just held the final day...

Of Winter Gathering...

We figured we should add on...

A foot or so...

Of one more element of seasonal decoration...

That always seems to make 4-H Camp look...

That much more wintry.

On the TWELFTH Day of Winter Gathering...

Well, this year we took Winter Gathering from its standard afternoon and stretched it out over 12 whole days, but all good things come to and end and we have reached our final day of Winter Gathering!

Which means - it's time to light up 4-H Camp for the holidays!

On the ELEVENTH Day of Winter Gathering...

Some of our campers and staff share a few of their favorite camp memories - as long as they can be expressed in 11 words or 11 seconds.

On the TENTH Day of Winter Gathering...

Let's check in around the globe on ten (or so) of your favorite Camp counselors, and see how they're all spending their December!

On the NINTH Day of Winter Gathering...

Hey, HAFHAH campers! Remember those Tree Cookies we had you do some art on and mail back to us? We remember them too!
