Well, it's that time of year when graduations of all sorts are upon us, and graduation time always serves as the gateway to summer (and summer camp).
That's never been more true than last week at the Rutgers University School of Arts and Sciences Convocation when our very own Yosuf Ayni shared some beautiful thoughts and reflective wisdom about his time as a 4-H Camp Counselor during the ceremony.
Watch and enjoy below, and I'm sure as you do you'll join us in feeling fortunate to have folks as wonderful as Yosuf in our 4-H Camp community.
Come on by Rutgers Gardens on May 17th to celebrate the THIRD season our day camp program!
The event will include Program Tours of our 4-HCampatRutgersGardens Day Camp and a meet and greet with some of our summer staff as they lead some sample games and activities. Attendees will have the opportunity to make some eco-art, pot your own plant, and play some outdoor games. We’ll also have an info station for our classic overnight 4-HCamp in Stokes State Forest.
Meet us at the Log Cabin/Pavilion which will be serving as “Camp Central” for our Summer season.

(You'll get to meet some of our overnight staff at the Open House, but if you'd like to visit L.G. Cook 4-H Camp in Stokes Forest, there's still time before the summer! We'll be offering tours on Saturday, May 10th and Saturday June 7th. Email4hcamp@njaes.rutgers.eduto join a tour!)
