2026 Campership Campaign.

Camp (And Our Campership Campaign) Is Something We All Build Together

We're just about halfway through our Summer 2026 Campership Campaign, and FIFTY EIGHT FOLKS from our Camp Community have already joined together to generously contribute to helping get as many kids as possible to 4-H Camp this summer.

Our Campfire Council Alumni Group not only endeavors to reach our financial goal, but to get as many members of the Camp Family to help with is as possible.

So please consider your own "donor story", spread the word, and help us build another wonderful summer for all campers in 2026.

The Campaign extends until December 6th at our Winter Gathering - which we hope you'll join us for.

Help Us Raise the Flag!

As you probably saw, we launched our 2026 Campership Campaign yesterday!

An even though the lovely donor website has a way of keeping track of where we're at - we're a tech-free camp! We can't see that. We've never even been on the internet.

So, we decided to make a quick and easy, real-life tactile donor bar here in Camp Central, and figured we'd keep an eye on the current standings of the campaign by raising the 4-H Flag.

We were already to start at the bottom:

But the Camp Community didn't even give us a chance!

No sooner had we gotten going then we already raised $3,360 in DAY #1 of our Campership Campaign! So we had to go back in the November wind and get to flag raising.

Our 2026 Campership Campaign goes until our WINTER GATHERING on December 6th, so please spread the word and assist is in getting the flag all the way up to the top of the pole.

Folks can give here and now to spread summer camp opportunity far and wide.

Summer 2026 Campership Campaign Launch!

 

It is 4-H Camp's belief that every child deserves the opportunity for this transformative summer camp experience, regardless of their financial situation.

To support that mission, we are excited to announce the launch of our THIRD ANNUAL CAMPERSHIP CAMPAIGN.


With the assistance of our Campfire Council Alumni Group and the Rutgers University Foundation, our Campership Campaign gathers our entire community to work together to help provide the summer camp experience to kids who might not afford it otherwise.

Last year, for Summer 2025, 4-H Camp gave out over $64,000 in campership support to 84 campers for sessions at overnight camp in Stokes Forest and 4-H Camp at Rutgers Gardens. The funds raised in last year's Campership Campaign went a long way to making these 84 summer camp experiences a reality.

For Summer 2026, a generous matching donor is matching EVERY GIFT in this campaign, dollar for dollar. If we hit our $12,500 goal, it will result in a total of $25,000 in campership support.

100% of every donation will support the funds awarded to youth to attend Summer 2026 at 4-H Camp.

As we approach the holiday season, please consider giving to make some more summer camp dreams come true.
