Happy New Year!
At 4-H Camp, our favorite part of the start of a new year is that it finally puts us in the same calendar as next summer - so "Happy 2024" means we're that much closer to SUMMER '24!
We've got a lot of new and exciting stuff coming our way this season, chief among them our revamped Junior Counselor program:
Yes, we are re-imagining our JUNIOR COUNSELOR program, that phase that comes after a camper ages out of their campers years and graduates our CIT II program.
For the campers who have said that they have always wanted to be a 4-H Camp counselor, this is their chance!
Junior Counselors volunteer for a camp session, supporting our cabin groups, assisting in classes and programs, helping behind the scenes with kitchen and clean-up, and contributing to all the work that is needed to keep our Camp community running along.
Our exciting development for Summer '24 is our brand-new Junior Counselor Tent Village. This unique camp-living experience will underpin team building, support the growth from camper to counselor, and provide a fun and memorable experience.
